West Division
DIVISION CHAMPIONS
This division began as the Western Interprovincial Football Union in 1936. In 1961 it was renamed as the Western Football Conference and played an interlocking schedule with that of the Eastern Football  Conference (now the East Division) that same year. In 1980, the WFC took on its current name but did not  exist in 1995 when the CFL took on the North and South Division alignment. Winnipeg returned to the West Division in 2014 which it last played in prior to the 2006 season.
